Cry to the Nation: We Need to Get Back to Church

As Christians, we are called to live out our faith, and not be led by fear. Fear is not of God, it is from Satan. We are the body of Christ and we need each other for encouragement, prayer, and support.

With churches being closed and our submission to government authority, we are sacrificing our spiritual vitality. And pleasing man and not God.

Instead of consistent reminders of the God whom we serve, we have been encouraged to submit to fear. As believers, we “must obey God rather than man” (Acts 5:29), who calls us to gather, to worship, and praise him.

Our president fearlessly went to St. John’s Episcopal church the day after it was vandalized by riots the night before.

This article in The Federalist describes how our leader stood outside the boarded-up building “marred with fire at the hands of mutinous rogues." He made an unspoken statement to our country amid the nationwide protests and riots over the needless death of George Floyd at the hands of dishonorable officers.

Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick made a poignant statement on Fox News

"We have racism in this country, Shannon," Patrick said. "But it's really an issue of love. It's loving God. If if you cannot love your fellow man, if you don't love God -- and we have a country where we've been working really hard, particularly on the left, to kick God out."

"We need a culture change to address this racism. You cannot change the culture of a country until you change the character of mankind."
