Transgender Boys Now Welcome in Girl Scouts - Join American Heritage Girls Instead!

Christian parents must take seriously God’s directions to train up a child in the way he should go. Joining and supporting anti-Christian groups like Girls Scouts USA does not fit our marching orders. Girl Scouts of America (GSA) has been a left-leaning organization for years, even to the point of raising money to support Planned Parenthood. The words "Planned Parenthood" is the oppostie of what this organization actually stands for.

But recent decisions will make it even easier for you to see why we need to stear clear.  On their website, they admit that boys pretending to be girls will be admitted on a “case-by-case basis” but in the next paragraph, they say that transgender boys are now welcome.

They also have removed God from their pledge, by stating that “Members may substitute for the word God in accordance with their own spiritual beliefs.”

Years ago, Girl Scouts was all about girls belonging to a club, experiencing camping, learning leadership skills, and making friends. But that’s not all they are learning these days. According to the GSA website, all religions are equal.

In John 14:6, Jesus says,

“I am the Way and the Truth and the Light, no one comes to the Father except through Me.”

We Christians need to bring our kids up to know God and the Truth of the Bible, so we need to carefully choose activities and organizations that support His truth.

Kids need to learn leadership and social skills and have fun adventures as they grow up. Older, entrenched programs have failed us, but what can we do?

  • First step: Quit Girl Scouts. Your girls do not need to hear lies from leaders they trust. Do not let them be indoctrinated into unbiblical ideas or led to question God’s plan for us. They need to be taught by mentors who share a common biblical understanding.
  • Second step: Check out American Heritage Girls. This biblically-based international girls’ group has been around since 1995. Girls meet to learn life skills and have adventure challenges but most importantly, to learn how to know God better and serve other people.

We have all been handed a parenting “reset button” during the Covid-19 quarantine. Use this time away to evaluate all of your families’ activities and see where God wants you to stay involved and where He wants your family to change directions. When we all (finally!) are able to meet again, your girls will be ready to jump into a fun, exciting, and God-honoring scouting program.
